Seafarers Bridge, a pedestrian and cycle bridge built 2009, crosses the Birrarung/Yarra diagonally from the Southbank Maritime Precinct to Seafarers Rest Park. The name of the bridge honours the historic Mission to Seafarers Centre located next to the Seafarers Rest Park and North Wharf which was of immense significance to Australia’s early Antarctic engagement.

Seafarers Bridge connects the Southbank and Northbank Maritime Heritage Trails.
